Our location in Rotterdam is responsible for the balance sheets and P&L (Profit and Loss) of both local and global entities. Our business controllers carry significant responsibility and have a broad range of tasks. They work with complex derivatives and are constantly engaged in tracking the market value of goods, taking into account fluctuations in market prices, spoilage, weather conditions, and global events such as wars and strikes. The work is dynamic and technically challenging, where factors like humidity and oil content in products even come into play.
